The concept is simple when you book 94DR for groups of up to 12 it is yours exclusively. 94DR is a place for families, friendship groups, small tour groups, micro-events and small corporate gatherings. Offering a range of service packages to suit all needs, whether that’s being totally spoiled and looked after by a small team of housekeeper, chef, and host; free to cater entirely for themselves; or a service style that’s created to meet individual needs, 94DR will be guided simply by what is right for each party.

Building on 14 years as a luxury five-star bed and breakfast, creators, Paul Lightfoot and John MacEwan’s vision has always been to create a small friendly place with a big personality. A place for guests to feel at home, even when they’re miles away from their own. 94DR is where flamboyant energy meets relaxation, where classic meets modernity, where luxury meets experience.

Every object, colour and surface was carefully selected to inspire a delightful home from home experience. With 6 ensuite bedrooms, relaxing sociable public rooms and plentiful private outdoor space, 94DR is large enough to afford her guests every possible luxury yet maintain a sense of privacy and intimacy that can be lost in larger venues.

Food is at the heart of 94DR. Guests can expect gastronomic dining at 94DR, from mouth-watering breakfasts or a formal dinner with a dash of Michelin star in The Orangery to an away day picnic or lunch al fresco in the private walled garden.  Guests enjoy the flexibility of choosing their style of dining or leaving everything in 94DR’s capable hands. 

The house comes alive with artworks from Paul & John’s private collection, handpicked pieces and fun objects discovered on their travels. These touches embody the relaxed eclectic spirit at the heart of 94DR. 

The elegant Edinburgh townhouse is located in the city’s southside, on the edge of Holyrood Park and with 3 private off-street parking spaces 94DR is the perfect base to explore all that Edinburgh and Scotland have to offer.

RATES

Nightly rates for 94DR (sleeping up to 12 in 6 ensuite bedrooms) range from £600 – £1400 including all taxes, breakfast, house amenities and daily service.
