Our butcher George Bower is a much loved Edinburgh supplier, based in Stockbridge, they are game and venison specialists and have been butchering the best cuts of meat for more than 50 years. We also can supply you with some of the best beef in the world from Highland Wagyu a pedigree beef company, raising Japanese Wagyu, Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Highland and Dexter cattle from their 25,000-acre estate farm in Perthshire.
We source the finest seafood from across Scotland. Armstrongs have been our traditional fishmongers for 20 years, their fish is sourced from Scottish markets to ensure they obtain the best possible products. We also ship from Tarbert – a small, traditional fishing village in the heart of the Mull of Kintyre on the West Coast – fresh oysters, langoustine, lobster, crab, and scallops from Loch Fyne Seafarms.
East Coast Organics supply the best organic produce from fresh vegetables and fruit to almost everything you may require directly from their two farms 10 miles from Edinburgh. They have orchards, polytunnels, and hens for eggs. Both farms are registered organic with the Biodynamic Agricultural Association.
For cheese, we look no further than Errington Cheese, they have been making award-winning Sheep and Goats milk cheese including Corra Linn ‘Best Scottish Cheese’ at the World cheese awards last year and their original Lanark Blue since the early 1980s. We source outstanding artisan dairy products, made lovingly by the McCreery family at Yester Mains Farm in East Lothian from their own cows’ milk.
94DR has partnered with L’art du Vin an excellent local wine merchant specialising in artisan producers that express their terroir. Our spirit and beer suppliers are borne from Scotland’s distilling credentials, built up over more than 150 years. Our unique landscape and botanicals grown on our doorstep, coupled with the history and skills, has resulted in Scotland’s reputation as one of the most creative and innovative places to distill in the world, from vodka and gin to beers, rum, and of course whisky!
We are passionate about bread and bakery and we’re lucky to have some amazing bakeries to hand in Edinburgh to fulfill our passion. Archipelago is passionate and everything is made by hand every day, using organic flour and traditional methods. La Barantine, offer delicious traditional viennoiseries and gâteaux prepared daily by their ‘si français’ staff. And right on our doorstep at 94DR is The Wee Bakery, they bake bread slowly, using quality flour from Les Grands Moulins de Paris.
We source our charcuterie from East Coast Cured who celebrate the very best, sourcing meats directly from local farms, to create outstanding dry-cured Scottish meats. An Edinburgh institution and Scotland’s oldest delicatessen, Valvona and Crolla were founded in 1934, they now supply us with the finest products from around the world.
