Our vision has always been to create a small friendly place with a BIG personality. We wanted a place for you to feel at home, even when you’re miles away from your own. 94DR is where flamboyant energy meets relaxation, where classic meets modernity, where luxury meets experience.
Every object, colour and surface was carefully selected to inspire a delightful home from home experience. With 6 ensuite bedrooms, relaxing sociable public rooms and bags of outdoor space, 94DR is large enough to afford her guests every possible luxury yet maintain a sense of intimacy that can be lost in larger venues.
The house comes alive with artworks from our private collection, handpicked pieces and fun objects discovered on our travels. These touches embody the relaxed eclectic spirit at the heart of 94DR.
94DR has 6 stylish ensuite bedrooms, the interiors are a chic, contemporary take on our traditional Scottish roots. Top-quality touches like comfortable mattresses, handwoven blankets, fine bed linen and White Company toiletries all add to the air of refined luxury.

En suite bathroom with Victorian cast iron claw-footed roll top bath, separate power shower above and underfloor heating. Features uninterrupted and imposing bay window views to Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Craggs.
This deluxe bedroom has a sumptuous super king-size bed (can be twinned) with a bespoke buttoned headboard. En suite bathroom with Victorian cast iron clawfoot roll top bath, separate power shower above and underfloor heating. Quietly situated to the rear of the house enjoying views over our walled garden.
Our wee double is styled in crisp, yet relaxing warm shades of greys with wools and tweeds. This bright double room is served by an en-suite shower room with underfloor heating and a power shower. Front-facing with amazing views to Salisbury Craggs and Arthur’s Seat.

This bright super king bedroom (can be twinned) is situated on the top floor. The bay window seat has magnificent views out to Arthurs Seat and Holyrood Park. The room’s spacious en-suite with under-floor heating has a large walk-in power shower.

Our impressive south-facing orangery connects to the terrace and looks out across our walled garden. It offers spacious dining for up to 12 people. Perfect for relaxed and formal dinners, sociable breakfasts or even boardroom style meetings. Fully equipped with fine china, cutlery and glassware. The orangery is served by our semi-open-plan cook’s kitchen.
This moody sociable atmospheric room can be fully stocked as your personal bar with plentiful glassware and cocktail equipment. Integrated fridge and dishwasher. Sonos sound system, games, and book library. It’s the perfect spot for a pre-dinner aperitif or a post-dinner nightcap.
For any guests who fancy a film night, 94DR has a home media room complete with cosy seating, blankets and dimmed lighting for the ultimate viewing experience. Netflix, DVD library, TV and games consoles make this the perfect retreat for teenagers and children.
Located from the Orangery the terrace forms part of 94DR charming and tranquil private walled garden. Fully equipped with stylish “club” Italian seating, high dining table with stools, a Louisianna Egg BBQ and Valoriani Italian wood-fired pizza oven, perfect for alfresco cooking and dining.
The sunny fully enclosed private walled garden provides plenty of space to relax and chill out. The dell, an atmospheric area is quietly situated at the bottom of the garden is furnished with seating and a wood-burning stove, perfect for an evening cocktail or an after-dinner dram and cigar.
The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with top of the range gas stove and double ovens, under-counter fridges, double sinks, and a dishwasher. You’ll find all the utensils needed to create even the most demanding of recipes. The kitchen is served by a separate utility space with a double french style fridge/freezer with an ice machine.
Located to the rear of our garden, the self-contained summer house is perfect for those wishing to work out while away. Fully equipped with free weights, a workout bench, squat rack, and yoga mats. Along with our two complimentary bikes, there’s everything you’ll need to stay fit.
