Our vision has always been to create a small friendly place with a BIG personality. We wanted a place for you to feel at home, even when you’re miles away from your own. 94DR is where flamboyant energy meets relaxation, where classic meets modernity, where luxury meets experience.
Every object, colour and surface was carefully selected to inspire a delightful home from home experience. With 6 ensuite bedrooms, relaxing sociable public rooms and bags of outdoor space, 94DR is large enough to afford her guests every possible luxury yet maintain a sense of intimacy that can be lost in larger venues.
The house comes alive with artworks from our private collection, handpicked pieces and fun objects discovered on our travels. These touches embody the relaxed eclectic spirit at the heart of 94DR.

Spaces of the house
From the formal Drawing Room to the garden dell, every space has its own rhythm — connected by 94DR’s relaxed, eclectic spirit.
Ground floor
94DR’s impressive formal living room with open fire, comfy sofas and plenty of seating. Perfect for a quiet catch up with a book, after dinner drinks or for your group to gather socialise and relax. Board games, card table.
02 Dining & garden
Our impressive south-facing orangery connects to the terrace and looks out across our walled garden. It offers spacious dining for up to 12 people. Perfect for relaxed and formal dinners, sociable breakfasts or even boardroom style meetings. Fully equipped with fine china, cutlery and glassware. The orangery is served by our semi-open-plan cook’s kitchen.
After dark
03 Library Bar
This moody sociable atmospheric room can be fully stocked as your personal bar with plentiful glassware and cocktail equipment. Integrated fridge and dishwasher, games, and book library. It’s the perfect spot for a pre-dinner aperitif or a post-dinner nightcap.
04 Media Room
For any guests who fancy a film night, 94DR has a home media room complete with cosy seating, blankets and dimmed lighting for the ultimate viewing experience. Netflix, DVD library, TV and games consoles make this the perfect retreat for teenagers and children.
Inside, outside
05 Terrace
Located from the Orangery the terrace forms part of 94DR charming and tranquil private walled garden. Fully equipped with stylish “club” Italian seating, high dining table with stools, a Louisianna Egg BBQ and Valoriani Italian wood-fired pizza oven, perfect for alfresco cooking and dining.
The dell
The sunny fully enclosed private walled garden provides plenty of space to relax and chill out. The dell, an atmospheric area is quietly situated at the bottom of the garden is furnished with seating and a wood-burning stove, perfect for an evening cocktail or an after-dinner dram and cigar.
07 Kitchen
The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with top of the range gas stove and double ovens, under-counter fridges, double sinks, and a dishwasher. You’ll find all the utensils needed to create even the most demanding of recipes. The kitchen is served by a separate utility space with a double french style fridge/freezer with an ice machine.
08 Summerhouse
Located to the rear of our garden, the self-contained summer house is perfect for those wishing to work out while away. Fully equipped with free weights, a workout bench, squat rack, and yoga mats. There’s everything you’ll need to stay fit.
Ensuite bedrooms
A chic, contemporary take on traditional Scottish roots — comfortable mattresses, handwoven blankets, fine bed linen and White Company toiletries.
